Weekly Devlog 17


MONSTER

  • Added new monster in the game
    • Found an applied an improved way or area detection, where now I don't need to manually animate areas to match parts of the body
      • Accuracy increased regarding hitboxes
    • Made ALL of the animations
      • Idle
      • WalkIntro
      • Walk
      • WalkOutro
      • Hurt
      • Attack
      • Death
    • Created animation tree (node that manages animations and its transitions)
    • Remade scene 6 part with a massive hole to ressemble more what I did with a render


SFX AND MUSIC

  • Implemented stems for final scene 6 ambience
  • Implemented SFX for water 
    • Walking
    • Crouching
    • Jumping
    • Running
  • Recorded sound effects for both monsters

WEAPONS

  • Added melee attack to Beretta92 to compensate the lack of dedicated melee weapon (for now)
