First monster added - Devlog #4
Depth Above (Demo) » Devlog
MONSTERS
- Fully added monster to the game
- Textured
- Modeled
- Animated everything except the reveal cutscene (Idle, Walk, Attack, Dodge, Hurt, Death)
- AI to chase player or other enemies. For now it's only able to chase the player, I still need to debate whether there should be infight or similar things such as enemies distracting others
- Scenes can handle which monsters have been killed or not. This comes in handy from a development stand point mostly because it allows me to manage saves in an easier way.
SFX
- Finished ambience for Scene 2
- Started doing "chase" music, may appear when first encountering the first enemy
- Recorded monster sounds
OTHER
- Updated water shader so it distorts whatevers behind the mesh. Before this change, water only deformed it's own texture, but now it's able to distort whatever's behind it.
- Added Hurt and Damage functions for both the player and the monster
