Scene 3 Map + Lore Updates - Devlog #5


SCENES

  • Made scene 3 a bit longer, monster is introduced later on
  • Fixed missing collisions on Scenes 1 and 2
  • Created props and puzzle for scene 3
  • Fully implemented a turnstile
    • Stays in place whenever's closed
    • Rotates when the player's inside and checks if the player's on the next area or not.


VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS

  • Created glass shader (For now only used in Scene 3)

  • Heavily improved player's hurt animation
  • Added physical details to doors


  • Added steam particles to pipes

LORE

  • Aside from the main lore, some scenes that take place in the same place will have a subplot connected to the main one. To get the gist of it you can try to solve the ARG in the video above

SFX

  • Added in-game sounds to the monster
  • Started subtle ambience for scene 3
  • Made a bunch of sound effects for the different props on scene 3

OTHER

  • Modeled and textured melee weapon
